Terms of service.

Welcome to The Cycle Cure Company Limited. These terms govern the provision of bicycle maintenance, repairs, and new bike builds by The Cycle Cure Company ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Services

We offer bicycle servicing and repairs at your location (Mobile) or at our dedicated workshop.

  • Assessment: Before starting work, we will assess your bike and advise you of any additional work or parts needed and the associated costs.

  • Service Options: We provide everything from basic adjustments and puncture repairs to full servicing and custom builds.

  • Specialist Work: We may sub-contract specific tasks (e.g., carbon frame or suspension servicing) to third parties, but we remain responsible for their actions.

  • The Workspace (Mobile): For mobile visits, you are responsible for providing a safe and suitable place for us to work.

  • Clean Bike Policy: To provide the best service, please ensure bikes are reasonably clean. Excessively muddy bikes may incur a cleaning surcharge.

  • Right of Refusal: We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a booking due to aggressive or hostile behaviour.

2. Bookings & Cancellations

  • How to Book: Appointments can be made by phone, email, or our online system.

  • Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule with at least 6 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 6 hours' notice may incur a fee.

  • Condition for Collection/Drop-off: Bikes should be complete with wheels, pedals, and a saddle unless agreed otherwise. Please inform us of any missing parts in advance.

3. Transportation & Storage

  • Transit Risk: If we transport your bike to or from our workshop, we do so at our own risk. We take every precaution to prevent damage during loading and transit.

  • Delivery Logistics: We will agree on a delivery time with you. While we strive to be punctual, we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic or parking issues at your location.

  • Failed Access: If we attempt to collect or deliver at the agreed time and you are unavailable, we reserve the right to charge for the attempted visit.

  • Storage Fees: Please collect your bike within 7 days of completion to avoid a £10 per day storage fee. Bikes left for more than 21 days may be sold to recover our costs.

4. Payment

  • Timing: Payment is due upon completion of the work.

  • Methods: We accept cash, credit/debit cards, or bank transfers.

  • Parts: You are responsible for the cost of any parts required.

  • Late Payments: We reserve the right to retain your bike until paid in full. Payments are deemed late after 30 days, and interest may be charged under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.

5. Quality Guarantee

  • Labour: All workmanship is guaranteed for 6 months from the date of the work.

  • Parts: New parts are covered by the manufacturer’s own guarantee.

  • Conditions: To keep your warranty valid, you must maintain the bike according to manufacturer guidelines and provide proof of purchase.

  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, improper use, or damage caused by continuing to ride after a fault developed.

6. Liability & Safety

  • Personal Items: Please remove all personal items (lights, computers, bags) before providing us with your bike; we accept no liability for loss or damage to these items.

  • Negligence: Our liability for damage caused by our negligence is limited to £10,000.

  • Pre-existing Issues: We are not responsible for damage to bolts, threads, or fasteners that are already seized, rounded, or corroded.

  • Customer-Supplied Parts: We reserve the right to refuse to fit parts supplied by the customer, and we do not warrant any customer-supplied parts.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
